Russ Story’s affinity for investing and financial
matters began more than 20 years ago when he began
investing in the stock market through a class in high
school. His classmates elected him Senior Class
Treasurer. After spending several years in Atlanta as a
Vice-President with Buckhead Financial Corporation, he
finally was able to move south to Douglas Georgia and
still remain in the field he loves as a Certified Senior Advisor.
Russ has invested money on behalf of 100's of clients.
Included are seniors, wealthy individuals, lottery
winners and corporations.
Several years ago, after his grandmother entered a
nursing home, he decided to focus on financial and
health care issues concerning those 55 and older. He
discovered an alarming lack of expertise
available to seniors when it came to financial matters.
He runs monthly educational workshops at senior centers,
primarily in Georgia, on topics such as tax savings,
catastrophic illness, investing, and asset protection.
Russ Story holds the following titles and designations important in
advising seniors:
Financial Advisor
Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)
Registered Financial Consultant (RFC)
Registered Principal
Investment Advisor Representative
Mr. Story has lectured at The University of Georgia on
issues of retirement planning and financial issues
concerning seniors. He has taught investment classes at

in two newspapers and has been featured on numerous

related to seniors.
